is the Australian Talent Management agency good?

Recently an extras/acting/modelling agency called Australian Talent Management (ATM) has been advertising current castings all over Australia-wide online job listings. I have been in contact with them regarding a TV series being filmed on the Gold Coast, but I can't find any information on them (other then their job listings and website). Does anyone know this agency? Is it another NOTM? I'm a bit concerned. They allow for a free listing on their website but in order to actually be presented to clients, they suggest you upgrade to a $100 yearly membership. I was in touch with NOTM a year ago and I recall they had a very similar system of membership. If anyone has any information, it would be greatly appreciated. I suspect there will soon be an increase in interest in this agency following the recent spate of casting listings.

Thanks Na

Thank you Na for once again standing up for me. Now Thomas I can understand that you may feel that I am the bad person here for making comments about agencies, but like Na has mentioned I cannot be blamed for other people’s actions. I have no affiliation with D2D apart from posting auditions which is how the owner and I became friends. That is why I also have the link to the ITA website and the FTI website, both of which I have posted auditions on and had great responses. Again I did not “bag” your agency in any of my posts. I have merely said for everyone to do their research and if it is found (which I am not saying you are) that there is either not enough information or a negative reputation, that people should avoid such agencies. I think Na is right and that this argument has gone on long enough. An opinion was asked and I gave my two cents worth which appears a lot of people support, agree, and reinforce. I hope everyone will form an opinion on this matter and especially thank Na for vouching for me. So to everyone (yes even you Thomas) … Keep Smiling :) David Green DRAGON FILMS www.davidgreenenterprises.com
