WAAPA auditions
Thu, 22 Sept 2005, 05:43 pmI was thinking if anyone can suggest any cool stuff for waapa auditions? i was thinking something more modern..cause all of the new dance mix musicals (let us rock you and saturday fever) have pop stuff in them.
maybe something by the fugees or cold chisel? killing me softly or choir girl? will they like that ?
or should i stick to anthem and this is the moment?>
thanks,
seb

Didn't two of the girls that got in this year sing popular from Wicked??
Personally I don't think it matters what song you sing for your audition as long as it flatters you, you tell the story and you have fun with it. The "panel" will enjoy your performance if you enjoy yourself...
As for the masterclass...take every word as gospel because they are the ones letting you in....what you do after that is up to you.
And as for the personal lives of the people in the course...you sort of sound stalkerish talking about them on a public forum....!
Goodluck guys!!
