WAAPA auditions
Thu, 22 Sept 2005, 05:43 pmI was thinking if anyone can suggest any cool stuff for waapa auditions? i was thinking something more modern..cause all of the new dance mix musicals (let us rock you and saturday fever) have pop stuff in them.
maybe something by the fugees or cold chisel? killing me softly or choir girl? will they like that ?
or should i stick to anthem and this is the moment?>
thanks,
seb

Ha!
you want my opinion BECAUSE people disagree?
ok. i'm assuming you're a male...with a broken voice...
look i think you could probably answer this question yourself. if you're really unsure, sing them all for some people and see what they think.
or are you just looking for attention? looking for someone to write something funny back to you? do you want people to think you are serious about this?
sorry if my bluntness is to harsh for you.
i'd aviod hello dolly and where is love. popular would probably be hilarious as a cross gender reading, but maybe save that for when you're in the course.
although, in saying that, i've heard they don't like people straying too far from the square in performance pracs... not that i agree with this totally. if you can't experiment at a learning institution, where can you??
