Hey Peeps,

My name is Rose and i would like to post one thing and one thing only,we have to be the only industry i know that gets paid great amounts to do what we love to do and we do it with passion and energy everyday,we also get paid to pass on our OWN knowledge and experience to our peers that know only what we tell to them so how about we let go of all the bagging and concentrate on working together to create a wholesome, full and vibing community rather than creating tension for all those that need to work together and lets work in harmony, for we are only gypsies!
Love Light and Happiness

I dont understand how bickering on forums has any bearing on professionals coming to be in an amateur theatre production?

Also, I have to ask- why would you do amateur theatre as a professional when you could be being paid? I don't quite understand the argument.

Also, what is "semi-pro"?

This all sounds a little weird to me.

I dont at all understand why professional performers are supposed to do community theatre? I am not being a snob, but what's the point? Professional theatre and community theatre serve two completely different purposes. One is a hobby group, the other is professional entertainment. They are entirely different communities...?
