PASSION IN OUR INDUSTRY
Wed, 8 Feb 2006, 03:01 pmHey Peeps,
My name is Rose and i would like to post one thing and one thing only,we have to be the only industry i know that gets paid great amounts to do what we love to do and we do it with passion and energy everyday,we also get paid to pass on our OWN knowledge and experience to our peers that know only what we tell to them so how about we let go of all the bagging and concentrate on working together to create a wholesome, full and vibing community rather than creating tension for all those that need to work together and lets work in harmony, for we are only gypsies!
Love Light and Happiness

Hey.
Although I DO agree with you on this how we get paid great amounts for doing what we love ( well if u even make it to the professional side of it )....................I will have to disagree with you on one part of it.
Never forget that there are ppl who aren't performers, who love their work.
My dad is a carpenter, he is now 49yr's old, he has been doing this since he was 14, and he goes to work every day because he loves what he does and has that " passion. " That's the same with my brother who's a mechanic on his last yr apprenticship.
But then again, we performers, have that passion on a different level to other ppl. I never have complaints about being a performer, coz i go to every rehearsal, every show, every class, knowing that even if i don't make it big in the industry, or get the fame and fortune, i know i've made it any way, because i'm doing something I love and no one will take it away from me.
