Adelaide ppl if you didnt see the 24 Hour Show on Sat night you missed out big time.

24 Hour Show at Her Majesty'e Theatre Adelaide raising money for kids with cancer was a Great Show and extremely funny.

It was amazing. Auditions were on Friday night with 130 ppl. They audition everyone selecting cast within 15 min. Rehearsal began immediately. Rehearsal from 8pm to 12am Friday night then back at 8am Sat until end of show.

Guys and Dolls was the musical and no one knew what musical they were doing until all the cast were selected. They performed the whole show. 2 1/2hrs of dialogue, song and dance learnt in 24 hours. The sets were made in 24hrs. The orchestra was selected and the full score mastered in 24 hrs. Lighting and tech in 24 hours.

Yes lines were forgotten but adlibed. Some songs were forgotten but covered up with comedy. Just a brilliant cast. Never laughed so much in all my life.

Guys and Dolls is not a favourite of mine but I would pay to see this again.

Together with the Triple MMM morning crew and Aussie Olympian basketballer Rachel Sporn. Funny Funny Funny

Well done to my friend Sarah who was just the best Hot Box Dancer, what a standout.

Thou villainous onion-eyed flap-dragon!

Thou villainous GREEN-eyed flap-dragon!

Did she steal someones Limelight?

Or do you know her Y?

Or perhaps a friend of yours?

I dont know her personally but 'Sarah' is very talented young lady, I was mesmerised by her commitment to her performances in both the 24 Hour Show and Shout.

The 24 Hour Show is a credit to everyone involved, Guys and Dolls gave us everything, including much humour and spontaneity.

I review many theatre performances and would like to congratulate everyone on a job well done. It is not my practice to single one performer out but concentrate on a few outstanding performances, however 'Sarah' has been congratulated on this forum by many friend's no doubt.

I thoroughly enjoyed the performances of the Hot Box Dancers, funny, suggestive but not offensive. Sarah emulated the original perfectly with personality and dance expertise.

The Havanna dancers brought colour and vibrance however lacked experience but as they mature and grow as performers, the potential is there for the future.

For those in the industry, look out for the next 24 Hour Show auditions, the achievement is amazing.
