Wicked - National Tour?

Well I have looked everywhere but I can't find a concrete source saying that Wicked will do a national tour (or at the least, if it will come to Brisbane). I have previously assumed that as it's an open season in Melbourne, they're not going to spread details about other cities until it's closing in Melbourne, but that's just an assumption. Does anyone on here have any confirmed details about where Wicked's going (no need for when)?

Thanks a lot,

the Dramatic Sunflower.

P.S. Sorry if this is in the wrong forum or has been discussed before. If it has...please point the way. :)

I don't know Shan, Idina

I don't know Shan, Idina Menzel does appear to be the face of Melbourne tourism of late! -the background to the anecdote. I found a Melbourne tourist brochure and on the front was a picture from Wicked, from before our production shots were taken. It's the same image used by the ANZ ads at Trains Stations (and elsewhere of course). 'The Official Bank Of Oz'... It definitely won't be December when it's in Sydney. Interesting point- (and sorry to kind of thread hijack) but Jersey Boys has been pushed back a month or so which should ease some of the worry for ticket sales from 'The Big Three' (Wicked, Billy Elliot and Jersey Boys) which were/are all going to clash. The extra month might do wonders for ticket sales for Jersey Boys, if not all shows. And it will be interesting to see the arrival date of Avenue Q. I'm assuming late '09 if not into 10.. 10... Are we that far into the 21st Century already? ____________________________________________________________ Currently working on: 'Locked In' a short play based on a real life experience For more details visit: www.freewebs.com/lazycreationsgroup
