Wicked - National Tour?

Well I have looked everywhere but I can't find a concrete source saying that Wicked will do a national tour (or at the least, if it will come to Brisbane). I have previously assumed that as it's an open season in Melbourne, they're not going to spread details about other cities until it's closing in Melbourne, but that's just an assumption. Does anyone on here have any confirmed details about where Wicked's going (no need for when)?

Thanks a lot,

the Dramatic Sunflower.

P.S. Sorry if this is in the wrong forum or has been discussed before. If it has...please point the way. :)

It will last at least 18 months (that's how long most of the performers' contracts last), but the expectation at this stage from those involved is that we're looking at 2 years plus. It was a massive job for the crew getting the set, etc. into the theatre, they actually altered parts of it to fit the show, so I don't think a tour would happen very easily. Plus, like others have said, there's some serious support going on for Wicked in Melbourne... hell, the whole place has practically turned green (at least, the Town Hall has)! (In any case, it's absolutely worth travelling interstate to see it- awesome show)
