Hi every one just want to know what every one thinks about the chasers war on everything

Perhaps it is more

Perhaps it is more reflective of the fact that there is very little of our own TV that 'challenges' the status quo. We don't have Michael Moores here; we have The Chaser. It probably says more about our 'right' to free speech than anything else. If their stunt at APEC occurred in the US, do we think there wouldn't have been thousands of lawyers lining up to take their case, plus civil liberties groups, etc? And the FBI restrainging themselves? No, here we get some lousy coverage on TV and a couple of people lauding about it. I don't agree with what they did; I think it was stupid. I do however look past what they did to what didn't happen. No one cried out for the right to free speech, no one got worried over the fact that we actually don't have this right, and no one worried about it getting taken away from us. Like I said, if it had happened in the US... it would have been a different thing altogether.
