Often the best comedy will be brilliant one second and painful the next. The Chaser is no diffferent. The APEC motorcade stunt was very funny, as it showed what a sham the security was. Forget about stealing rocket launchers all you need are a couple of big hire cars and a couple of goons in cheap suits. The China bullet stunt was of marginal taste. But it did draw attention to the fact that we are cozying up to a country that has no freedom of press, no freedom of religion, and no freedom of artistic expression to the point of imprisoning and executing artists, writers and actors.
