Part time courses? I just wanted to ask a question- I got some info sent out by the entertainment factory a while ago- it looks fantastic and really legit but I just can't afford the time and money this year. I got this letter yesterday from them saying that I could just pick up some units.. and get my Advanced Diploma over time or pick up full time next year... I was wondering coz there nationally recognised do you think if I did some units there and auditioned for both them and WAPPA next year my completed units could count towards my entry??? Does anyone know about the whole national recognition thing?!?!?! Was just curious - they start in two weeks and don't want to miss out if it counts for something!?!?

I am glad you received our information :). Firstly any unit (module) you complete with us is nationally recognised as a part completion of an Advanced Diploma under our scope. I cannot speak for WAPPA or any other Uni or RTO whether or not it would sway entry. They decide entry on auditioned base - saying that however they do have to recognise you have gained competency for certain standards (depending on the unit you study with us) as we are recognised under the TAC as a registered training organisation that delivers a nationally recognised course.

If you do wish to complete your training with us any units gained over one year count towards your Advanced Diploma in the major accepted. I hope this helps somewhat.

I will note however that anyone else reading this we are only accepting between 10-15 applicants for part time training. If you wish to train with us for even one unit (such as Actor's Creativity or our Classical Major class) you must ring NOW. we have had a number of auditions and places are going quite quickly.

I hope this answers your query Phoebe?
