SERENITY ACADEMY OF PERFORMING ARTS

Is calling auditions for this years intake. Please send your contact details together with your headshot and $100 audition fee to:

37 Sixth Ave Shaylands 6050

You will be informed by phone if you are eligible to audition on the 30th of Jan. If asked to audition please prepare:

Males - ONE of the following vastly contrasting songs:
"She Cries", "High flying adored", "Where is the life", "On the street were you live"

Females - ONE of the following... " All that jazz” or "Part of your world"
.....ThatÂ’s right, from the little mermaid....

Serenity Academy of Performing Arts or (SAPA) is a new up and coming drama school, likely to rival WAAPA. Based in Perth it has some of the greatest tutors who have not yet reached the industry:

The one known as "Princess" will teach elocution and exotic dance. Mark – AKA Shat - will teach various forms of effort management (with occasional help from his friend Shalis from Arts Management). Larry will teach the fine art of never coming home and also Irish dancing and Jack will be teaching his students how to say "Ugh!" dramatically and also how and when to be as hideous as you possibly can. For Jacks classes students are asked to please bring a goon bag and some spring roll from Kunt's Kitchen. Other guest directors and teachers will include: Shatie Shallison, Kathleane Sigory, Excuse My Mathers, Dizzy "trash bag" Stiles, Massive Mac, Angry Anderson and who ever Mark – AKA Shat - happens to be sleeping with at the time.

Don't miss this fantastic opportunity to kick-start your career,
Regards and best of luck,
SERENITY

Pinkerton - If you really did send money....i'm really really sorry that you didn't get it, and you can rest assured that as soon as i get back to Perth in just under a week that i will send your letter straight back to you....

For everyone else:

Please understand that SAPA is not a real academy of performing arts and we are not really having auditions on the 30th of Jan. Please don't send money or a head shot or anything at all...even if you did send something to "shaylands" we would not have received it as its not a real suburb. How ever if we do, we do we will do our best to send it all back to you. SAPA apologizes for crushing any young peoples hopes of going to drama school but i'm sure if you are so determined that you were going to pay a hundred dollars just for the chance to audition, you will get into an institution far better than SAPA could ever be. Craig is right - Don't ever pay for the chance to audition, its not fair practice when auditioning for a show/gig. (however you will find that you have to pay a small audition fee to audition for most drama schools, ie waapa).

After the next few days i'm sure you will realise that the presence of silly boring banter will gradually stop because we are all starting to head back to Perth to get stuck back into work mode. We have all been on holidays with nothing else to do than come on the net and annoy people (so it seems). So once we are all back at uni we won't be having time to come on here and muck around. i'm just enjoying it while i can cos in a few weeks i will be back in hell serving the rest of my jail term.

If i have ever offended anyone, it was never my intention, so i apologize. I hope you are all having a really great day.
