for school we have to choose an Australian Play, and my group and i are interested in doing a musical, so do you know any Aussie Musical's?

Try http://www.australianmusicals.com/library.htm great list there...just make sure that they are 'Australian' musicals and not overseas musicals that have been performed in Australia.
Musicals are traditionally very long and take a lot of time, skill and crew to put on...why not try something by Michael Olsen. I'd give you more...but I dont want to do your homework for you ;)
His scripts are Australian, Modern, One Act, and I believe they require alot of skill and talent to pull of effectively. Probably what youre looking for.
