I am sorry to burst anyone's illusions about this girl. Good on her for self promoting and putting herself out there, but she is really big talking herself. I currently live in LONDON. For one she doesn't have an agent, she hasn't even been seen in the last round of auditions for the show here, the casting ppl don't know who she is so the likelyhood of them taking someone they have never heard of back to Australia to star in the new production is not going to happen. They are going to go with an older, more experienced, well known performer. Vocally she is far too young to carry the role, just listening to her demo's, her technique is far from perfect and her voice has a long way to go before it will mature. Can we just remember the role was written for Kristin Chenoweth, a woman in her mid-late 30's, who has a much more mature and greater vocal ability. Also, read Stephanie's biography. All these 'concerts' she has been doing in London at 'Her Majesty's Theatre' - yes they are real, but they are also a concert called 'StarEFX' which are done by an Amateur company every few months and they audition in The Stage. But no professional over here would go near them. They are looked on mainly for school students to give them the chance to perform to their friends and family on a sunday in the theatre when 'Phantom' isn't on. This girl is really big noting herself as a 'soloist' in all these fab roles. Yeah sure embellish a bit, but don't play ppl for fools or tell big lies as you will always get found out. This girl has a LOT to learn about the industry. So for any official WICKED news I would keep an eye out at the OFFICIAL websites and AussieTheatre.com!
