Thank-you Jeff and all, I figured that this post couldnt be all that dodgy if it was allowed to continue on the site where I know the security and concern for safety of visitors is tight. I was neither trolling or bait casting, after 50 odd years in the entertainment industry and member in good standing of many of the professional associations that perhaps honesty and less "spruik" would do the tyro producers a lot more good. I have no objection to helping out young producers and directors, my record on that speaks for itself, however to be told that ïnternational distribution"is on the cards, yet payment, even deferred is not offered should be exposed... and evasion when a direct question is asked... In answer to your point jeff, yes Son of a Gun used disposable email addresses, but they also did most of their casting through agents and publicised their producers. Phishing: my concern with this post is that many young and vulnerable youngsters are in the habit of sending cv's, photographs and contact details to who? a yahoo or live.com address on the vague promise of employment? dangerous at best and dodgy if exploited...armed with id, address, bank account detail what else do I need for a definition of phishing? I wish these youngster producers well on your recommendation and perhaps they will, next time, be more honest as to their ambition and more likely capabilities. Let there be an end to it.
