This may be the opportunity you have been waiting for. An independent production company is seeking actors to audition for roles in an exciting action film project being shot in the Perth area. The producers are looking for actors to fill the following roles: * Heroes * Heroines * Villain Leaders * Villain Henchmen * Gang Members * Victims * Extras The producers are looking for actors who preferably have had some training and experience in stage and/or screen. If, however, you have no experience but you are enthusiastic and interested in the film industry please do forward your details. While a low budget production, the producers have entered into an international distribution arrangement for the film. The film is being made with the assistance of international directors/producers who have successfully found distributors for previous films in the action genre. Financing for the film has been obtained to cover the cost of equipment purchase and post production. All other participants in the project, including: actors, producers and director are not expected to be remunerated at this stage. This is a genuine opportunity to show your talent and participate enthusiastically in an exciting project that is anticipated to get international exposure. Weighing in

While I understand the concern of using a Web Based Email, you cannot get pished by emailing someone else, regardless. Phishing can only occur if you get an email and do one of the following;

1. Open a Phish Infected attachment that gets through your protection software (if you have any)

2. Follow a link in the email that takes you to a Phish Infected web site.

So the point here is, don't be afraid to send an email and use common sense if you get a reply.

Further to this, I have noticed a tendency these days for casting services to use temporary emails via Web Email services such as Gmail, Yahoo and so forth, and for legit productions. As an example, Son of a Gun currently filming in Perth used a GMail account to coordinate with Extras.

Final note. I am not involved with this production but do know certain individuals associated with it and I will therefore vouch for this posting. This is an independent production that will help establish a film-maker so that they may be able to produce more paying filming opportunities in the future.
