Extras work for tattooed and pierced girls?
Mon, 15 Sept 2008, 11:20 amHi, I am new to all of this and currently looking for some work as an extra or promos or something along those lines.
Just wondering whether anybody can tell me if there is much (if any) work for girls with tatts and piercings, or whether they should be covered/taken out to ensure a better success rate?

I can't think that having tatts and piercings will help. Depends on where they are and how coverable they are. Unfortunately, our industry uses the 'Hollywood' idea of beauty, which means people with tatts/piercings generally are typecast as bad guys, etc. It limits your options certainly.
