To anyone to knows Perth theatre

I'm a newbie here, but I've been on this site a couple of times to have a look around. See, I'm aspiring to be a professional TV and Film actress, however due to many different reasons I have had no experience acting except for primary school drama and out of school dance.
I was wondering if there was anyone who could recommend decent beginner acting classes around Perth? I've Googled it and the only one that has looked good so far is the Black Swan Thrills and Skills classes.
It would be great if anyone knows any more, as I am attempting to build up my skills so I can audition for plays and eventually build a resume fit for WAAPA.

Mon, 3 Dec 2007, 07:27 pmNeke, I'm not sure about Actors Management (you could try calling Nerida and checking) but I do know that ActorsNow (actorsnow.com.au) have adult acting classes on offer every few months or so. I've never actually taken the classes but the list of teachers is excellent from memory.
I've never heard of Come To Your Senses. From the website, it seems more like a "just-for-fun" kind of class than anything more - so if you're looking to pursue WAAPA admission, you should probably look for something a bit more hardcore.
As for the PAC classes, I believe it's only the screen workshops that require previous experience. Did you have a look at "Acting for the Stage"?
