I'm not 100% sure this is the right place to post this query - forgive me if it's not...

My daughter has got the role of Ragged Blossom in the end-of-year school musical, Snugglepot and Cuddlepie.

And guess who now has the task of coming up with a Ragged blossom costume :)

Help!

We're in Mandurah. I have done a websearch in W.A. in the hope of finding some place that has one and will hire it out - I have sent email queries but not heard back yet. Then thought someone here might know...

It's the costume for Ragged Blossom - my daughter is on the tall side for a 9 year old and wears a size 12 (children's size 12 that is) or a 14 if it's a small 14 or can be pinned to make tighter... or in adult sizing she can wear a 6 or an 8 and pin it.

So - can anyone help? Any ideas?

My memory is pretty hazy but isn't Ragged Blossom a bit fairy like? Do you have Spotlight shops where you are? They sell "fairy" outfits which consist of a cheapo leotard, a gauzy overskirt, wings etc. All quite cheaply, less than $20.00 You could easily make it a bit raggedy with judicious tearing. Actually any KMart or similar usually sell "dress up" stuff. Have a prowl, you may be inspired! Good luck! "Papa, where is Mama? They tell me she has gone away, where is she?"
