Lighting Programs

My college has just found sme extra money for our auditorium and we have decided to update our lighting design system from pencil and paper to moveable computer and we are looking for a lighting professional yet cheap (meh schools) lighting program inwhich to run a rig map etc does anyone know of any good ones?? Vectorworks can be accessed free as a student see http://www.nemetschek.net/student/software_application.php and Microlux have a free version that restricts you to 2D, older libraries and has a watermark in the centre of the drawing. http://www.luxart.com/
