SAME AS WAAPA

i was looking through all of my information and you may be interested to know that The Entertainment Factory is offering the same qualification as waapa for acting and musical theatre - both advanced diplomas.
ive sent my audition application in and am waiting for my audition time! rather exciting i must say. they start it late march. always another avenue for those who may have missed out on waapa?

I think he was referring to the nationally recognised Qualification being the same! Advanced Diploma and all that :)
1. Of Course their different , their not a Uni, they have their own approach, they do completely different things. I think it's good to be different. There is a lot of people who dig "different". Considering 2 of their graduates have been picked up by an InterState agent maybe "different" is good. Maybe different if fresh.
2. Secondly if you check out their website, they have changed the lay out of their showcase (not that there has been a showcase as The Entertainment Factory yet) so that it caters more to the individual performer and graduate. So all students get there turn in showcase.
I don't think they are claiming to be the "same" as WAPPA a Uni of god knows how many years with a nearly impeccable record. I do think they are offering talented performers a chance as an alternative to WAPPA to still earn a sought after qualification when WAPPA only take 15 nationally a year. It is a good thing for Perth. "Different" but good.
