Disney Auditions
Sat, 3 Sept 2005, 10:24 pmHas everyone seen the notice in the papers for auditions for Tokyo and Hong Kong Disney?? Yay!
I was just hoping that anyone who has done these auditions before could give us a bit of a rundown of the "Disney Audition Process" and maybe a few tips...?

Hi there,
I have many friends who have worked for disney.
Each country, show or venue looks for different things.
one thing I know is tatoos, pearcings or the like are a big no no, unless they can be removed or are not seen through the costume.
because they do not tell you what character you are auditioning for there is no point trying to characterise any of them.
they will generally look at your features and if successful give you an idea on what character they may want you for.
the best advise is to go and give it a try, not all dancers are cast as dancers, not all singers are cast as singers etc, you may fit a different character they are looking for.
so just go and show them what you can do
You will find if you are possibly what they are looking for you may get a call back, but you will also find like most auditions there will be allot of people going for an audition, so dont let that put you off.
good luck
p.s. universal studios are also looking for people too, if this is not successful for you
