Just following up on the LASALLE-SIA Musical Theatre course...

I'm currently studying there doing the B.A of Acting course which runs alongside the Musical Theatre students...

If you're something thats a bit different from WAAPA/NIDA/VCA, this course is worth checking out. Not only do we learn western styles and techniques but we also have opportunities to do asian theatre.

You can check out the course details at http://www.lasallesia.edu.sg/ - the Musical Theatre course here is the first of it's kind in South-East Asia i believe, and the programme leader of this course is Denis Folington who actually was one of the architects of WAAPA's musical theatre course.

The musical theatre students here are currently being taught singing by Amanda Colliver who was voice coach for Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman in Moulin Rouge and was Hugh Jackman's in Beauty and The Beast and Sunset Boulevard.

It's an exciting time here at LASALLE-SIA and we can't wait to see the course numbers grow. If you want some more info on life here in Singapore, email me at 7908@lasallesia.edu.sg or contact Maureen Varis at LASALLE-SIA for more info on the course. You can find her contact details at http://www.lasallesia.edu.sg/

Cheers!

Crispian.

P.S Hi to all the theatre crew BTW!!!!! I'm trying to write an email but theres so much to tell so i will contact you soon!!!
