Name the 5 best am. theatre co.'s in your state
Fri, 3 Dec 2004, 11:41 amI'm from Melbourne and the top 5 amatuer musical theatre companies in order are:
1): CLOC
2): Ballarat
3): Geelong Lyric
4): Geelong Footlights
5): Catchment
I'd be interested to see your posts as I know people who perform interstate and want to find out the quality theatres in their areas.
Also interested to hear from fellow victorians as to whether they agree with these choices.

Can't really see a way of implementing a poll.
As a general rule I prefer to avoid topics that aren't relevant to the national readership. Also to vote your preference from a selection presumes that the voter has experienced the entire selection...which is unlikely to be the case even in one state let alone from a national selection. And finally the poll engine only accepts about 12 options....selecting the ones to include would be a highly controversial decision in itself.
This is much more suited to a forum discussion topic.
And I might add, is likely to be highly problematic for many of the same reasons, not least being....what the hell does "best" mean?
Cheers,
