Grease Professional production Auditions are they on?
Thu, 16 Sept 2004, 02:00 pmHi guys
I just heard that there are auditions currently on for Grease (professional production).
Richard Wilkins from telly was saying that these auditions have already begun.
If that is true does anyone know any information??

The answer's unfortunately found in the people who use (misuse?) this site. Your post came immediately after a 13 year old who addressed her post 'to whomever I can get a job off'; and a fair few that were really just fanmail posts to a young TV actor...
Now, far be it for me to discourage any particular style of post...the front page says this is OUR website, and encourages us to join in and make ourselves home. However, conversations (including many of mine) do tend to stray a bit aimlessly. And I reckon professional companies ARE discouraged to post here, because they can see only too well that they are likely to generate a hell of a lot of time-wasting responses. And, as others have repeatedly pointed out, the professional companies are already flooded by applications from hopeful actors...why do they need to advertise for more?
Having said that, there are a fair few helpful souls here who broadcast relevant information about pro opportunities when it comes to hand. (Talei's list of useful weblinks is a resource to be envied.)
If you're eager to get straight to the source, you're better off employing the services of an agent. Then maybe you'll be one of the people letting us know here about professional auditions?
Cheers,
Craig
