Wicked auditions
Tue, 12 Aug 2008, 07:13 pmDoes anyone know if you can still audition for Wicked? I know it's started, but if it tours or if it stays in Melbourne for years on end, how does one get a shot at auditioning after it has been cast the first time round?
If someone could advise who to contact, I'd be grateful.

Like any professional show, the performers have a contract - usually 12 months, can lbe less depending on the show. Once the contract is finished the performer then has their choice to renew their contract, unless it is not offered to them again, it is at this point that the sow will then have new auditions depending on which cast members are staying/leaving. I would highly recommend getting an agent, as they will be notified when the auditions are, and they can submit you for it! As far as WICKED goes tho, it will probably be at least 9 months before they start auditions again!
