Generally speaking, once it's cast it's cast. Given the high profiles of most of the performers, I doubt you would be able to get a large role anyway. My advice: if you don't have one, get an agent, then find out. If you do, ask them to find out. You can also see if you can find out more info from the producers of the show/their casting agent. Don't forget that big musicals often have a number of understudies who often perform as well, which means that if they do replace actors, they'll be calling from that pool first.
