Hi everyone.. I'm an American who just finished doing a masters in Acting Musical Theatre at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London. I've been working and teaching here in London now. I'm interested in taking the research I was doing in my masters and taking it further into a PhD. Part of what I need in a program is a performing arts academy that has both a music and theatre department, since my research is about that crossover. And of course, I'd love a good advisor. One of the schools that seems to fit a lot of what I'm looking for is WAAPA. And I have to admit, the idea of living is sunny Perth for a while is really appealing :) I was curious of what people thought of postgrad work at WAAPA or what people might know about it. I've had a professional career both as a performer and a teacher, and I'm looking to have a career teaching at the university level while performing. Any input would be great. thanks! Jen
