Vision Australia is seeking volunteers to narrate a range of books for its library titles.
This is an ideal opportunity for all aspiring and professional actors to further develop their performance skills and expand their CV.
We are interested in hearing from all ages (over 18) but we have a particular requirement for the 25 to 55 year age bracket.
Our national library - a free library service for people with a print disability - produces audio books for clients in a wide variety of genres, including novels, biographies and histories.

Having spent seven years
Tue, 23 Mar 2010, 01:52 pmHaving spent seven years doing this for the Association for the Blind of Western Australia, I can tell all who may be interested that it's wonderful experience. How often do you get to play multiple characters in a variety of voices and accents on the stage? With this kind of work you do it all the time! Not only are you adding to your own skills, but you are also providing a much-needed service.
About time I got back into it myself!
