insurance for a traveling troupe??
Fri, 13 Nov 2009, 12:41 pmI don't know if anyone will have had experience with this but....I need to get liability insurance for our comedy troupe but haven't been having much luck. Anyone know of a specific insurance agency that deals with entertainers in a traveling troupe?
Also- any marketing tips that you've used?
My main focus is performing, writing & directing- all the management stuff is so difficult. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Failing that, go through a broker and specifically request a package within your preferred price range. The overall price will depend upon the amount of liability you want, the type of work you present and the types of venues that you use - so it may be that you will have to tailor your work to reduce your insurance costs. There is an indecency in this, I agree, but this is often an indecent world.
