Trade Paper
Sat, 11 July 2009, 07:51 amHi there, greetings from the UK! Great to find this web-site. Wondered could any of you advise me is there a trade paper for actors or musical theatre performers in Australia? If so do you have name and web-site. Your help would be appreciated. Cheers.
Overseas Performer Courses

A simple series of advertisements in the Arts section of the newspaper might be a cost effective way to promote your drama school courses to prospective Australian students. The Rose Bruford Academy advertises their courses and upcoming auditions that way every year in the Melbourne print media.
A website address and additional information about your school, the costs, the course and when your music theatre director is likely to be conducting assessments would also be very handy.
Stagewhispers Magazine is predominantly a publication servicing the amateur theatre community. There are some very accomplished and fine amateur musical theatre companies and performers in Australia. Although we do have local tertiary and professional music theatre training courses, it is possible that an advert in Stagewhispers Magazine may attract the interest of some performers seeking to extend their training overseas.
Hope this helps.
