Hello Everyone I have spoken to the casting director and this is genuine. Producers want an exciting and NEW cast for a multi-million dollar FEATURE FILM commencing production in Perth at the end of this year. OPEN AUDITIONS to be held October 25 and 26. Sydney-based casting director GREG APPS (Romper Stomper, Chopper, Mission Impossible 2) will oversee WORKSHOP AUDITIONS that weekend in the hunt for the main roles for the film WASTED. Experience NOT essential. Lead parts still available. Anything is possible. The events of Wasted take place during the final years of high school, exposing the anxieties and ordeals of adolescents that can push young people to the edge – or over it. BOYS & GIRLS BE OVER 16 LOOK 17 or 18 If you’ve got what it takes, email: wastedauditions@hotmail.com DEADLINE FOR EMAIL AUDITION REQUESTS IS WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 23 NO PHONE ENQUIRIES WILL BE ANSWERED. According to an email from the casting director, the company received too many applications, so if you have emailed the casting agent, you should expect a reply requesting a photo or resume etc to help them narrow down the audition list. I did, and have been allocated an audition, as has a friend of mine. I really wouldn't recommend just "turning up". The deadline for expressions of interest is supposed to be the 23rd - so I would get on to it if I were you!
