Has any good plays or musicals come from Brisbane?

Are you meaning ones that are nationally, or internationally, famous? I'm sure there are plenty of great plays coming from QLD, but obviously, not all will be well-known. It is well known, however, that Australian playwrights have a great difficult getting their plays seen at all, no matter what location they're in. Personally, I don't know of any QLD playwrights, famous or not. So perhaps someone else will answer your question better. However, have you checked out AWG (The Australian Writers Guild)? They would have information on well-known QLD playwrights. Are you just looking for info, or are you looking for a script to perform?
