looking for advice
Wed, 20 July 2005, 07:28 amhi.
would there be somebody in here, who could help me...
I'd like to find out if it is possible to make a projection on a certain white fabric 'screen', like for example white hemp or linen? (not using the standard white projection screen?)
thanks for help.

Hello Irma
You can project on any surface, the intensity of the reflected image which is what we see is dependent on the reflective properties of the surface.
Some "white" projector screens have a silver surface because it is more reflective and is opaque which also helps to stop light passing through the screen from behind.
The advantage of using a white material is that you can rear project if you have the space.
This makes it quicker and easier to set up and helps overcome keystone distortion.
