Interact02 Lighting Notes
Tue, 4 June 2002, 02:30 pmThese are links to sites that have material that was covered in the Basic Theatre Lighting workshops. We crammed 12 hours into a 2 hour session so if you look at these sites it will help to fill in what we could not cover in the two hours.
This site is an excellent set of notes for Theatre Lighting Design - Stage Lighting Design 101 by Bill Williams http://www.mts.net/~william5/index.htm
Go to this site for data on Strand Lighting which is a lot of the old lighting still found in community theatres - http://www.ex.ac.uk/drama/strand/
This is the Selecon site for their data sheets and details on the Pacific range - http://www.selecon.co.nz/
The ALIA Lighting Links page maintained by Andy Cidor is a good starting point as it provides links to all areas of Theatre Lighting - http://www.lighting-association.com/links/index.html
The LSC Maxim is an ideal lighting desk as I find it a lot easier to edit than Theatrelight or ESP2 - http://www.lsclighting.com.au/maXim.htm
The Lotteries Commission's "Grants Guide" web site for Community Funding - http://www.lottery.wa.gov.au/corporate/grantsguide/index.html
If you have any questions, email me via the link above.
