Does anyone know of any technical theatre job search engines on the internet? I am most interested in Australian-based ones, but I am interested in others as well.

I am looking for stage management, props or costume jobs in Australia. I am a 2000 graduate of CPA in Adelaide, and I have worked on the Adelaide season of "The Sound of Music" Australian tour, Womadelaide, ADT's "Monstrosity", the inaugural Cabaret Festival, and Restless Dance Company among others. If anyone out there has a job for me, or is interested in my resume, please contact me! Thanks.

RE: Job search

send me an email and I will forward a copy of Filmnet to you, so you can subscribe yourself. It's an Australia wide publication that deals mostly with film, but it often has theatre stuff in it as well. They have a job section that usually has good opportunities. My email address is: melissamerchant@hotmail.com

RE: Job search

there is also dramitic online - http://www.dramaticonline.com/

They have a job board/email list that gets sent out weekly from memory. It contains a lot of jobs around the entertainment industry.

Hope this helps,

Dear Melissa,

Read your e-mail on ITA website. Don't suppose I could be cheeky and ask you to forward me a copy of filmnet.

Thankyou very, very much,

Yours,

Alice Irving
