Just wondering if some-one out there is familiar with the Beringer Eurolite 24/12 lighting board. Our company has purchased one after reading mixed reviews about it but thought that it would suit our financial status (not quite poor but not rolling in cash either...LOL). We had a tech on our last show spend some time with it and he ended up throwing his hands in the air in defeat and brought his own. Has anyone had problems with this board and it's ability (or inability) to program more than 12 channels at one time...??? Love to hear your thoughts

Have you ever read the promo material Behringer put out? I won’t disagree with any of the posts here, but they do have a world class facility and produce gear that ANYONE can afford. In fact, my mum’s birthday present this year was their Karaoke mixer - which cost less than the bunch of flowers she usually gets from RosesOnly. They server a purpose, and it’s simply to provide cheap entry level equipment to the masses. I’ve used plenty of their gear over the years with mixed success. Their Digital EQ circa 2002 died while processing the main PA for a performance once which taught me a lesson about their reliability, and I’ve had more than one Eurorack power supply give up before its time. At the same time though, I’ve had 4 Behringer A/D converters that have been working hard for years without trouble. The moral is, with Behringer always have a contingency, but if it suits the budget don’t write it off. The exception is that damn lighting desk - I don’t know what they were thinking on that one, its a dog
