hey everyone,

i'm trying to compile a list of musicals (a - z, synopsis, original cast, awards, songlist and general comments) just to extend my personal knowledge and was wondering if anyone out there could help???

if you'd like to reply with your favourite musical, or perhaps a site that might be useful for me to have a look at, perhaps a book you've read that was particularly interesting that would be relevant or any other helpful advice i'd really appreciate it!!!

thanks in advance ;)

walter.

Re: a request from a musical lover!

Hey Walter,

Simplyscripts.com has a collection of many online musical scripts and libretto('s?) but the best site is Musical Notes Revisited, http://www.musicalnotesnmore.com. Unfortunatley whoever was compiling it seems to have stopped and so many newer musicals do not appear, but it is still an amazing site.
It lists the synopsis, song numbers, cast, songs of interest etc - great site. Check it out.

Hope this helps.

http://www.broadwayabridged.com is very good for laughs.

For Sondheim musicals, visit http://www.sondheim.com

For any crap but SOME good ones, visit http://www.reallyuseful.com

www.broadway.com will give you a list of each show playing on BWay and London at the moment, as well as synopses.
