Professional Work in Oz

Hi

I've just recently moved from the UK and I'm having to start my career in Oz from scratch.

Can anyone tell me where the best place is to get information on agents, producers, castings, auditions etc?

For agents, producers, casting directors etc... contact MEAA (Equity) as they can provide you with a list of these, you can find all their contact details at:

For professional auditions in oz it is best to have an agent or, like in the uk, to start mingling with other industry ppl to hear what's going on. We don't have a newspaper like 'The STAGE' altho there are sometime auditions advertised in local papers. You can also check out some sites:

also if you are perth based there is a yahoo groups that sends out auditions as well! goodluck i hope this helps:)
