Just wondering how the different departments get on at waapa, by way of staff and also students. Is there much mingling?

mostley mt only really associates with actors and some dancers, we dont have a lot to do with jazz musos or classical students, not for any reason thats just how it is. Most other departments think MT is the loudest group (we generally are !) and everyone knows who we are cause were always singing, being crazy and were always in big groups. They dont really like us, they think were all mostly obnoxious and snobby! MT and Acting are close and have all our events together, they come to ours and we go to theirs. Everyone (dance, classical, some cert. jazz, theatre arts, lighting, directing, arts management, stage managment) comes to the big events though, eg.Porn party, lark in the park, retro, sleezeball. Alot of mt and acting staff cross over and teach in both departments and yes the staff of both courses mingle and work together. hope that answers your question!
