Due to unforeseen circumstances, our actor playing the role of Benny in our productionof Jonathan Larson's RENT has had to depart from our cast.
I am looking for a male performer to take the role on.
I am looking for a performer who knows the role and the show very well, is able to pick up harmonies and blocking relatively quickly and can easily assimiliate into a new crowd.
Our show will be performed in Campbelltown NSW from February 10th - 18th 2006 at Campbelltown Town Hall Theatre and we rehearse Tuesday and Thursday nights in Ambarvale (Campbelltown) NSW
This is an amatuer production so this is not paid work. The performer must also pay a production fee of $30.
We have a cast of about nineteen performers and we are looking for our 20th.
If there are any male performers who have either played the role of Benny or would like to and can commit to our production performaces and rehearsals in 2006 as well as able to travel to Campbelltown NSW, then please email me at jackhammer004@hotmail.com or call me on 02 9863 2088 after 5pm for a chat and to arrange a time for a quick audition.
We currently have two more rehearsals left for 2005, rehearsals will start in January 2006 on Tuesday the 10th.
