where are all the musicals gone to? where can i find a site that always has updates of different musicals and auditions for that month?

Do you mean just in Australia?? Then this s probably one of the best sites or try www.broadwayaustralia.com as this has all the up to date info on professional theatre in oz. you can also register to receive audition notices. These are the best two for Amateur and Pro theatre in Oz, your only other option really is to have an agent! As to where all the musicals gone?? I'd like to know too! What's happening down under?? Why arn't ppl ging to the theatre anymore forcing all our shows to close? In Sydney the only show still running is 'Menopaue - The Musical'!! Anyone got any ideas??? We need to keep our industry alive!!!!

Otherwise, I find this site the best source of auditions for local productions of musicals, just under the 'whats on - auditions'. You can then filter it to your state. The only problem at this time of the year is that next years auditions won't show up until January.

Murray Music and Drama CLub (40 mins south of Perth) is staging three musicals next year - and our rehearsal nights are Mon and Wed.
"The King and I" auditions for adults Feb 1st - see audition posting on this site nearer the time (that goes for all three of them!) and it goes to stage in May.

"A Characteristic Quest" goes on July/Aug and "State Fair" in November.
