WAAPA Pact
Wed, 30 Nov 2005, 08:09 pmHey guys,
Lets make a pact. (I sound very American Pie don't I?)
Anyone who auditioned for MT BA or cert who gets a call next week should post on here. Then if we haven't recieved a call we will know we're not in instead of waiting for the letter for a month.
If some of us get in, we should get together before class starts next year!!
Good luck to everyone!

Re: WAAPA Pact
Oh sorry Mrs Lloyd Webber.... I just meant that I'm in with the pact... I haven't actually heard anything from WAAPA yet... but if anyone has heard they're successful in MT Bach or Cert, definitely let us know won't you? ;)

Beth, how old are you, are you straight out of school. I know aeva is older.
Did either of you do the WAAPA Explore Music Theatre course in July 2005.There was one girl at the call back I knew from the course.
Dont you just hate the waiting game.

Re: WAAPA Pact
I've done the Audition MasterClass in 2003 but haven't done the Explore MT class... haha I didn't even realise they offered that, but I just saw it on the WAAPA website. I might do it next year if I don't get in :)

Re: WAAPA Pact
Now Now aeva be positive. You have everything going for you this year. Your not straight out of school, your over 20, you have auditioned before and got a call back. You auditioned again and got another call back. Its gotta happen for you.
The Explore MT course was excellent well worth every cent. We even put on a perfomance at the end of the week. Its just the best fun, I would recommend it to anyone. We had the same teachers that the BA and Cert have.
Earlier in the year I rang James Hamilton about the WAAPA open day cos I was going to come from Adelaide to have a look at the facility. He suggested if I was coming from interstate, I would be better off doing the MT holiday course. I got to see WAAPA (and ECU) plus met the teachers and had the best time doing the course.

Re: WAAPA Pact
Lovelee, I just turned 24. (so old!) and I work full time so only auditioned for the cert course.
Didn't do the explore course, but did an audition masterclass a couple of years ago.
Hopefully I'll see you next year!

Re: WAAPA Pact
Beth we have that in common :) I am also 24 and working full time, hence my decision to audition for the cert too. Hope we both get in!
