Anne, I am from SA and went to Perth to audition. I do have family and friends there though and I have just turned 18 in August.

From listening to many people and this is my personal opinion going to Perth is a better option. For one, I got a call back, and really, I am happy with just the call back.

Cayra said 2 got call backs in Adelaide this year? Interested if they were male or female and their ages.

We have excellent talent in Adelaide, I really dont know what it is. I didnt hear of the 2 who got call backs in Adelaide in 2004 apparently 1 of them got in. From a person at the venue the auditions were held they said no one got through. Now I am so interested to know if someone did or no one did in 2004.

When I did the audition masterclass and explore music theatre workshop in July again I went to Perth to do it. Nothing beats doing it at WAAPA itself. Made so many freinds and the teachers are excellent!!! It was money well spent.

They are just so professional and I took on board everything they said.

They did say however, they would like those straight out of school to experience life but that did not mean they would not take someone 17-18. If the talents there they will seriously look at you. From 20 to maybe 25 are the best ages. You have life experience and have built your reportiore.
