It's the Christmas story as you've never experienced before! Follow the Light (book, music and lyrics by Nick Choo) is a quirky, contemporary, "non-religious rock reinvention" of the most famous story in the world, told through 21 original songs that range from pop & rock to punk & emotive ballad.
Produced and performed by some of PerthÂ’s finest young talent including Dave Bowyer, Anne-Marie Manuel, James Harley and Cameron Ryan and backed by a 12-piece classic-rock ensemble, Follow the Light retells the story of the birth of Christ in a modernised, non-preachy and rockin' new way, aimed at youths, young adults and the young-at-heart regardless of creed.
Performances will be staged at Nexus Theatre on Murdoch UniÂverÂsiÂtyÂ’s South Street Campus at 8pm on Nov 23-25 (Wed-Fri), and at 12:30pm & 8pm on Nov 26 (Sat).
