The 'War' has begun in Campbelltown!!
Sun, 23 Oct 2005, 10:49 amWhether the commencement of a war could be called successful is subject to debate, but the war which has begun on the Town Hall Theatre stage at Campbelltown has certainly been greeted enthusiastically!
Campbelltown Theatre Group's Australian premiere production of 'Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of The Worlds' is now playing with postive reviews all around.
Comments have included 'very different..interesting concept'; 'superb dancing'; 'the orchestra rocks'; 'powerful imagery, energy and enthusiasm'.
With so many shows opening this past weekend, audiences have so much to choose from and all should be deservedly supported in the spirit of community theatre. However, for those who want something away from the 'norm', this is the production for you.
Six performances remain - Oct 26, 28, 29, November 2, 4 and 5 at 8pm. Don't miss it!
