Re: ensemble

Carousel!

The adult ensemble in Oliver! only have about three songs:
"Omm-pah-pah"; "Who will Buy!" and "Consider Yourself"

I'm sure they have more in Carousel...

Re: ensemble...help!

thanks......
I have to make a quick decision- Oliver or carousel
i dont know a great deal about either (except the movie Oliver).
I live a lot closer to the company doing Carousel, i just thought Oliver might be more fun??? But if i get to be involved more in Carousel. Hmm.

Does anyone else know about the ensembles in either show??

Re: ensemble...help!

Go Carousel moe involved and will stretch cause the singing is more difficult

Re: ensemble...help!

Quite frankly unless the director of Oliver! is brilliant, its a BORING show to do ensemble in...

Go Carousel! especially as its closer

"I'd like to say a word for guacamole!"

Re: ensemble...help!

I'd say Carousel too

Oliver always seems to have about half a million kids in these days and as said above adult ensemble don't do a lot

Re: ensemble

Absolutely Carousel - more to do and definitely it'll give your voice a better work out. Some great chorus numbers - "Clambake", "June is Busting Out All Over", "You'll Never Walk Alone" (sung a little sweeter than at a soccer match!!) "Blow High Blow Low" and there are other bits too, at the wedding etc. Enjoy!
