Re: Les Miserables - Melbourne
Just to say that I have booked my tickets for the opening night. I am looking forward to this production, since it is almost a year since I saw my last performance of Les Mis, here in Australia.
I have travelled extensively since 1986, both here and abroad, following Les Mis. I am up to more than 350 performances so far, not a lot by comparison with some "real" fans.
I am eager to see how the show is interpreted, especially the acting and singing choices that are made.
I hope to attend several performances, time willing, and usually post a review on the London Les Mis site
Good Luck
Dave

How fascinating that you have seen this show 350 times. That is amazing! I look forward to meeting you at Plenty Ranges. I am playing Mdm T, so will be interested in what you have to say about our show. The cast are doing a great job. Some are very new to theatre, but you would think they have been involved for years. We have had a lot of fun, and our Director & Musical Director have been wonderful. It has been quite an experience.

Re: Les Miserables - Melbourne
good to read of Les Mis in Melbourne. I am a fan. My cousin in Melbourne is Patrick Edgeworth. He is in the business. Writing and directing. I direct. My last was "Lion In Winter" in Spain. I hope to visit Oz next year. I suppose I must choose the winter mon ths to be able to see the theatre you mount. It is good to see that you are as enthusiastic as I am. Keep it up. Terry W.

Agreed. I was there last night and I was very impressed. The cast were excellent; much better than I expected, as were the orchestra and obviously the crew because not a subtlety was missed.
This was my first time but not my last.
Too bad the audience doesn't get more involved here in aus :-)

Dear Rob, as a member of Les Mis I would like to thatk you for your email. I am proud to have been involved in this beautif and moving musical. I agree its a pity not more of the general public got behind us or just amateur theatre in general. Thanks again for your kind words.
