Les Miserables - WA
Mon, 7 Mar 2005, 04:48 pmGreetings,
I was out on the town with a friend of mine last night when I mentioned that I really wanted to do a musical soon. She said that a company in WA was going to be auditioning for Les Miserables to be put on some time in November. I forget the name of the company but it was the same one that put on The King and I a short time ago.
Does anybody know anything about this? If so, could you please let me know!
Many thanks,
-claire

Re: Les Miserables - WA
Hi Claire,
The Multiple Sclerosis Society was responsible for the production of the King and I in Perth last year.
The last I heard, they were auditioning for Les Miserables in the Eastern States. I haven't heard anything about a Perth production but perhaps they will be bringing it here also.
Anyone else heard anything?
Sarah

Re: Les Miserables - WA
Hi,
Yes, I know about this. As I understand it, John Milson (Ex-head of WAAPA Musical Theatre) will be directing Les Mis for the MS Society, opening later in the year (perhaps Nov) at the Regal.
Auditions are likely to be in April/May.
That's all I know for now.
Regards,
Jason

I've thrown out the clipping, but get in contact with the marketing guy at Multiple Sclerosis Society WA. He was the one who booked me in for an audition.
