Re: Waapa information please

Hi, Waapa is located at the suburb called mount lawley, to suburbs away northeast from city. The university itself have some of accomodation but what most people will do is to fine some mates to share a flat or house with. I am sure there should be place to stay around there or several suburbs away. The most reliable transportation to mount lawley is with bus from city available every 10 min every morning at 9 and a bit less when it gets later. even though mt lawley(the suburb where waapa in) has a train station it is too far to walk to the campus and less bus is available. So in my opinion the best way to find a place to live is to find somewhere around the suburb between city to mountlawley. I know someone who live near the campus so i think it wont be hard to find one. good luck. Ur doin music theatre?

Re: Waapa information please

hm.... its quite okay; its quite a good middle class suburb. But its always a safety issue when going around late. Doesnt have to live in waapa; wappa is really quite accesible during day. many of us travel 45 min everyday to get to waapa and its not bad. What i suggest is somewhere not to near to the city and not too far from city coz it seems to be where wierd people appear. And well, its always safer if you have a male friend you can trust. Im a male so i have no problem whatsoever with safety haha; just dont try to be too macho and cause havoc.

Mount Lawley is a really good suburb to live in, very safe.
I'm fairly sure the "friends of waapa" assist students who get in from interstate with living arrangements etc.
